Cecilia started playing backgammon with her Dad when she was a teenager, she played at University and joined the Bristol Backgammon Club in her mid 30s.  She plays in the Bristol backgammon league, the UKBGF league and several of the WBIF tournaments and she attends 1 or 2 international tournaments a year plus some of the bigger UK tournaments.

As well as being an M3 and representing the UK, Cecilia has an impressive list of achievements:

1. Winner of the UK Bristol Backgammon Premier League in 2015
2. Women’s World Champion, 2016
3. Winner of the ladies tournament in Georgia, 2016
4. Runner up in the Bristol Open, 2017
5. Winner of the Bristol Brunel Trophy, 2018
6. Runner up in the London Players Championship, 2021
7. Joint 5^th (from 512 players) in the WBIF World Online Individual Championship 2023
